managing risk by analysis

Xfmea

ReliaSoft's Xfmea software facilitates analysis, data management and reporting for failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and failure modes, effects and criticality analysis (FMECA). Xfmea supports all major FMEA / FMECA standards (AIAG FMEA-3, J1739, ARP5580, MIL-STD-1629A, etc.) and provides extensive customisation capabilities for analysis and reporting, allowing you to configure the software to meet your organisation's specific analysis and reporting procedures for all types of FMEA / FMECA.

Xfmea provides a flexible and powerful set of tools to help you record data for current failure mode and effects analyses, re-use relevant information from existing FMEAs, evaluate risk via RPN or Criticality Analysis, track the completion of recommended actions, present the FMEA data via reports and charts, and / or integrate the FMEA with related analyses (Controls Plans, DVP&Rs, DRBFMs),

Xfmea is available in two editions, Xfmea Standard and Xfmea Enterprise.

Xfmea Standard has been designed for individuals or small departments.  The individual database files are based on Microsoft Access that can be stored on users' computers or in shared directories.  There is a limited database capacity and limited number of simultaneous users.  FMEA / FMECA and related activities are supported.

Xfmea Enterprise provides all of the FMEA / FMECA data management and reporting capabilities of the standard edition, with the added feature of being designed around a centralised database on a network server that can be accessible by a large number of simultaneous users. The Enterprise edition also includes multiple additional tools.
