Mike has been working with Wilde since 2005 and has over 20 years experience in the engineering arena following completion of a Physics degree and a master degree in Industrial Engineering. Mike’s career includes electron microscopy (investigating small failures) and Reliability & Service management roles (investigating large failures); the latter gained at two of the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturers.
At Wilde, Mike is involved with understanding why products and systems fail, predicting how many will fail in the hands of customers’ and identifying corrective actions that either fix the problem or mitigate the risk to the client and customer. He is also involved with training engineers and managers in the use of reliability techniques such as Weibulll analysis, Reliability Block Diagrams and Fault Tree Analysis.
